The Revels are a multigenerational band built on family, friendship, and a deep-rooted love of live music—a legacy that has been entertaining audiences across Utah and Idaho for more than six decades. Founded in 1964 in the Bear Lake Valley by guitarist Lindon Parks and his brothers, The Revels began as a local dance and event band, quickly earning a reputation for lively performances, strong musicianship, and a setlist that kept audiences singing and dancing all night long. What started as one musician’s passion grew into a family tradition that continues to thrive today.

Over the years, The Revels evolved into a unique ensemble made up of family members and lifelong friends, each bringing their own talent and personality to the stage. Lindon’s son, Darren, joined the band as a bass player while still in high school, followed by Lindon’s daughter, Jody, who added her musical talents on keyboards. Family friend Ryan, who grew up alongside Darren and Jody, became the band’s lead vocalist during his high school years, adding charisma and vocal versatility to The Revels’ sound. Lindon's son-in-law, Oliver, later joined the group as lead guitarist, strengthening the family connection at the heart of the band. Scott joined as drummer, completing a lineup that blends decades of experience, close-knit chemistry, and a shared passion for creating unforgettable live performances.

Today, members of The Revels call Mapleton, Payson, Spanish Fork, and Woodland Hills home, but their music has carried them to audiences throughout the region for generations. Their enduring appeal comes from a rare combination of professionalism, authenticity, and versatility. From timeless classics of the 1950s and 1960s to crowd favorites from the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s, The Revels perform an expansive catalog of popular cover songs that connect with audiences of all ages.
